School of Social Work PhD candidate and sessional instructor Maddie Brockbank was awarded this year’s MSU Teaching Award for the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The MSU Teaching Awards are presented each year to one instructor from each of the following faculties: Arts & Science, Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Nursing, Kinesiology and Science. This award recognizes outstanding all round teaching performance of the instructor. Merits which are considered including ability to communicate, approachability, and enthusiasm of the instructor as recognized by students registered in their classes.
