Social Work Graduate Students Receive Funding

Eleven Social Work graduate students were successful after answering our annual call for proposals for funding of leadership and research activities, receiving funding of up to $300 each. Recipients of the funding included three students in the MSW Critical Leadership in Social Services and Communities program, two students in the MSW Critical Analysis program and six students in the PhD program. A wide array of important topics were submitted for funding ranging from conference funding, software to support research, developing community meetings, engaging homeless seniors in art to understand need, developing focus groups, and using stories to understand experiences. Congratulations to all successful 2022 Social Work graduate student funding recipients.
